Should there be an S clip or rubber hose on one or both trunk tension or torsion bars to prevent rattles? I've seen cars with and without them but not sure if they are original to our cars. If there is a correct hose part to use, I want to use it. If anyone has a source for the correct part, please let me know.
Yes to the S clip and I had both.
When replaced I used a piece of hose and just sliced the side.
