Title: 1969 Charger windshield gasket
Post by: Lifsgrt on February 14, 2019, 09:45:58 PM
Anybody have good or bad things to say about a particular brand of windshield gasket? I'm building a Daytona clone for Bonneville Speed Week and need to install a gasket. I see a wide range of pricing, just hoping someone here has some input, thanks.

A Precision gasket is one of the most inexpensive yet better quality gasket available.  Sold hundreds of them with no issues.  Variety of vendors carry them, just buy from one that moves volume and once you get it, remove from the bag and lay out to help it to conform to the windshield frame.  If your using an installer, they may want to provide the gasket as that is one way that they make a bit more money and can warranty the work.
