Title: 1971 Bonneville Lindsley Hemi Superbird replicated
Post by: hemi68charger on October 27, 2022, 11:04:39 AM
Whatcha think?

With the help of Gary Lindsley, surviving son of the race team and Patti (also a driver of the car), I was able to get a local graphics company replicate as close as possible the original graphics of the Superbird in its 1971 state...... The car was painted it's often seen Copper in 1972 with the big ole hood scoop in 1973. . I believe the car campaigned from 1970 to 1989.. But what the heck. Currently looking for a parachute from the family.....  and yes, I should put the white letters of the tires inside...

It looks great, Troy.

But - after you've had it two years you gotta change over to copper paint with tunnel ram also!

A simple "looks cool" or "looks like shit" would have sufficed.

But if I was to trade it, it would be for only 1 car and we know that would be... Fat chance of that happening... Soooooooooo, a trade of any sorts is pretty much out of the question..

You're going to complain about a little ribbing when you yourself promoted the whole "troy trade" thing?

I suggest looking for a color pic.
I see 3 different shades of gray on the "16".
