Title: Transmission Cooler - Opinions on the Best Type/Brand
Post by: 4402tuff4u on April 12, 2006, 05:52:44 AM
Need opinions on a good transmission cooler - type you mount in front of the radiator. Anyone have a good brand/type - looking for the best out there! Thanks. :yesnod:

The B&M "stacked plate" supercoolers are the most efficient and work much better than the traditional tube and fin cheapo coolers that cost a few $$ less. Spend a little extra and protect you trans properly. A deep pan also helps by increasing the fluid capacity.  :yesnod:

I used the plain steel MP pan with a cheapo cooler.....make sure to run it in series with the rad trans cooler.....the more capacity the better
