Title: where do the hood pin cables get attached

hi guys on a daytona to what part of the car do the other end of the hood pin cables get attach to under the hood? also the hood pin plates screws . are they in an H PATTERN OR A CROSS?  I've always believed it was a cross. Rene

Yup, just like that...  The length of the cable is supposed to be 18", and the pin is the flat kind as Chris pictured.

The screw hole pattern on all the Daytonas I've seen -- so far -- is the cross pattern.  Superbirds seem to have (and I'll admit I haven't studied them nearly as much) the H pattern.

Then you get some of the odd ball Daytona's that have the hood pins going from fender to fender, instead of facing from front to back. Not as many though as the ones that have them going as pictured.

thanks guys,  installed them today . my cable is a little longer but still looks cool . :2thumbs:
