Title: Fiberglass/plastic Spacers on Front Seats

Gentlemen and gals, the fiberglass spacers beneath the seats, do they go under the carpet or sit above the carpet? ??? Thanks.

Above the carpet......IIRC originals actually had those retainer type one way washers that kept them tight on the seat track stud....

PS----remember if you have a drivers side 6-way no spacers are used.....

Thanks for the reply guys. Chris, no six-way on mine, just the basic option on mine. Yep I did see that these new spacers had a star type washer. I thought it was to sandwich the carpet up snug to the seat rail. I was thinking " how the hell am I doing this?"  mystery solved :yesnod:
