Would like to find out what the ins and outs are on these jacks. The main thing I'm looking for is the size of the stud on the top plate. I looked at some other posts about these jacks and one of them said there is a letter and blue print from chrysler on these jacks. Does anyone have a copy they can post or just the specs? I have picked up some cores over the years and wanted to convert them. I have 3 scissors jacks that are close. All 3 have different threaded rods. 2 have a course thread with different size break pins and flat ends. The other one is a finer thread with a tappered end. I think the fine threaded one is the more correct one.

I've looked at that link and the other links. None have the information I'm looking for. I'm looking for the size of the stud on the top plate.

Of the jack's that I've looked at over the years, 3/4" dia, but I'm sure there's variations, Wingnut426 (Pete V) would be your best source of knowledge on the finer details...

I did have someone else say 3/4 Dia. I don't know the hight. I think it's 5/8 tall but just a guess.

Hi chaaargerb, 15 July 2022
If you contact Bob Jennings (member = taxspeaker) he should be able to post a photo of a genuine 69 Hemi Daytona scissor jack, which by the way is red. His Daytona, which he bought from us, has both of it's original jacks. Just be nice to him because he's a very nice person and will be more than happy to help you.
His Hemi Daytona is 100% original and unrestored.
Hope this helps; Good Luck.
Best Always

I just measured my jack....3/4 (.750) diameter, approx .450 high, just shy of a 1/2 inch... again I'm sure that has variations, as do all things wingcar related....

62 max had some info on one of the threads (3/4" daimeter,3/8" high.dead center on the top plate).
Day Clona said (3/4 (.750) diameter, approx .450 high, just shy of a 1/2 inch..).
Both are pretty close could be one shifted up a little when being welded or just quality control.

Well your talking a .075 difference, just a tad over 1/16".....again I'm sure there's variations, it's just a jack, not a critical component of the Webb Telescope :scratchchin: :icon_smile_big:
Just an update. Here's how mine turned out.
Thanks again for the info. :2thumbs:
Now the only thing missing is you writing a detailed description of what you did. You know, to help others like the help you asked for.
