I am going to change the oil in the differential and was thinking of using Synthetic gear oil. Has anyone had problems running synthetic oil? Thanks for the help!
What carrier is in it?
Its a Dana 60. The rear end has not been rebuilt as far as I know. Im thinking of just going with 80 -90 and a limited slip additive. I was just looking to see if a synthetic oil would be better. With all the new oils out there it seems like everything is going synthetic.

I use 85/140 non synthetic Lucas in my S60 Dana, that is what Strange engineering recommends

I will look into that... Thanks
If it is a 60 year old limited slip, i would run 85/140 conventional.
