Title: PLEASE HELP
Post by: Bwword on August 01, 2020, 05:30:22 PM
I have a 1973 Dodge Charger se with the 440 4 barrel.
Today while changing the fuel pump I did something idiotic.  I was using a very small, thin wrench to hold the push pin up in order to position the pump lever appropriately when placing the new pump. I lost my grip and the wrench fell into the block. I have tried to retrieve it via a magnetic rod, but have been unsuccessful.
1) any ideas for retrieval ?
2) am I overreacting and just replace the pump and keep going ?

Thanks

Drop the pan, replace the pump, reinstall the pan, fire it up, happy cruusing, show pix of burnout when done. :2thumbs:
