It's not that homely really, at least compared to a lot of other wannabees I've seen.  I think using the blunt nose helps it.

If he hadn't added the 73 Firebird style scoops to the leading edge of the hood the nose would look more like one of those GM Monte Carlo aero cars.  What did they call that Monte Carlo/ Grand Prix thing again?

The 1986 - 1987  Monte Carlo were called the Aerocoupes and  The 1986 1/2 Grand Prix were called 2+2.

Would love to have either one of them!


I admire  the thought and workmanship that they used to create it .... shows a lot of initiative  and creative thinking.

Having said that,  not really my style.
