You have answered a few questions on this forum for me. I would like to send pics of my progress, but I don't know how to reduce picture size down to 200kb or what ever as this is the max. size you can send. Any quick explanations on how to do this. Thanks.

Easiest way is create an account on photobucket.com
upload the pics there and then just paste the image code in a post. The pic will appear in your post.
OK - So is that an SE and how many known Canadian SE's are there now? I know of 665, 666 (I think) and mine - 619. :scratchchin:
It has not been confimed that the yellow SE is the 414644 car so nobody take it as the gospel just yet...Terry

yep---414641 here.
it's amazing how many CDN cars are on this forum?
414644 is a well optioned SE car with power windows. By the fender tag, it's an original Hemi Orange car, auto with a black interior, leather seats and a buddy seat instead of a console. It was last reported to DSAC in 1990, then painted yellow as it appears now. It was purchased off a used car lot in 1978 in Montreal with a 360 engine and oversized wheels with Cragars. A 440 was eventually put back in place and it was sold in 1988 to a fellow in Bainsville Ontario (about an hour from Montreal). The Ontario owner put the Magnum 500s on it and made it roadworthy at that time. It had about 60k on the clock at that time.
The non stock yellow paint and location is enough to convince me it's 414644.

Does anyone have any pics of this car back in the day? This is the first Daytona I ever saw in the flesh.I was somewhere between 12 and 15 at the time I saw it on display at a World of wheels kind of the car show in Montreal.I knew from then on I had to have me one of those weird looking monsters someday.
I thought Jims # 1 Canada sold 69 daytona was the car on display in Montreal or Maybe it was on display in Toronto .I searched newspaperarchives for Canada auto shows with 69 daytonas no luck finding any

Jim mentioned at sometime he was looking for a archive picture from of his daytona at a show

The only wing brace is the plate under the quarter panel. NO vertical braces were ever installed. No holes in the original trunk mat or in the trunk pan. None. Never.
I asked Roger Gibson about this and he wants me to try and slide an original set of braces in to see if they fit. Creative may have had trouble with this car or they rushed it out to do the Toronto Auto Show or they just screwed up and forgot.

If creative was rushing this car out to do the Toronto Auto Show. It wasnt for 2009 . It be more like what I look for vintage archive pictures
On a Non SE related note here is the white blue custom painted 69 daytona 414637 I wonder what happened to.

These showed up on Facebook not too long ago.
Another.
Who knows about what date these were taken?
That would have been around 1980.
