Title: Bought a new project.
Post by: Back N Black on December 27, 2023, 07:24:51 PM
Not a B-body but a Mopar. 73,340 Ralley. all the metal work is done, rust free.  I said I was getting too old, but here I am. I have spent the last few years doing small projects to keep busy, restoring gas pumps, coke machines, air meters, pedal cars etc..

Hi Back N Black,          27 December 2023

Looks like a really nice find. I do not know much about a 73 Ralley. Maybe you can enlighten me when you have time.

Good luck with your new project and Happy New Year.

1971 was the last year for a challenger R/T, it was replaced with the Rallye package.
A57-Rallye package, sport hood, black grille, simulated fender louvers, HD suspension, rallye instrument panel-type 7, longitudinal sport strobe stripe,f70x14" WSW tires

Engine and trans is already re-built so, pretty much stock build. Owner passed away before car was completed.

The 70 and 71 models got all the glory but the 72-74 models were still great cars.
I actually like the later taillights more than the early ones. The interiors are essentially the same. The chassis is the same so any engine or suspension modification  one would do to a 70/71 can just as easily be done to the 72-74.
