A thorough inspection of the car would be in order to determine how original and complete it actually is, but judging by the pictures it looks like a 1980's "rattle can rebuild" to put a car up for sale...and I'm calling BS on the car being put into storage in1973 and just now coming out....This car has been poorly masked and painted inside of the trunk to freshen it up and I hate to see Krylon semi gloss black engine compartments on a $7,500 Duster, much less a Superbird. Also, why the mismatched wheels and tires.....spend a few bucks to make the car more presentable if your are going to ask top dollar numbers matching restored money for it :rotz:
If it is as nice and original as the write-up is maybe it's worth half of what he is asking?  :o :o:smilielol: :smilielol:

Same seller as the Jeff Dunham Hemi Bird and offered up in similar as-is condition.   There was more than one Bird in his barn, so this must be the other car.     Certainly aggressive on the asking price.

Lordy... Albeit I love white Birds, along with the paint, should have invested in some tape.. Even the taillamp covers have overspray on them......

Considering a real nice B5 V code 4-speed superbird hammered down last week at Mecum in Denver for $148K, the owner will be waiting a long time if he wants anything near $250K.

whats the current definition of "real nice"? numbers car? recent and or anywhere near "correct" resto? mainly was the bottom of the car painted blue? price seems low for a blue V car.

I didn't see it in person, but it looks real nice to me.
