Title: centre console info
Post by: aussieguy71 on April 14, 2018, 06:56:14 PM
Gday Guys , just purchased a 1970 RT/SE and it is a manual transmission on the floor. It does not have the centre floor console or centre seat. How do I find out what it originally had ? Just wanting to take it back to original , much appreciate your expertise.

Regards Justin

Did the car come with a build sheet? If so you'll find all the info there.   :2thumbs:

"C16" on the fender tag or build sheet for console.

It may not have had either one.

Fender tag codes (or lack of them) will tell the tale.

Depending on where it is on the tag / sheet C16 can also be the SPD (scheduled production date) December, 16th.
