I went with PCG also. I believe their font to be correct. There's a few other wrong ones out there.

IIRC, there's 2 different fonts pertaining to just the "A"s used on Daytona striping/lettering, early vs late production? IIRC
Yes, there are two fonts. The A was more slanted on one version.
Which font is the early?
Any pics of the slanted "A" version?

Here's 2 pics of DC-93, one taken July 13th., 1969, other in August of 70.
Of interest is the horizontal location of the lettering - different, side to side.
Do the Performance Car Graphics stripe letters look like these?
