And it's not green. Wow.

It's not that I hate green, but those seem to be found more often than any other color.

BUSTED Torsion Bars ???

I guess I've spent a sheltered life playing with mopars, because the only other "busted" Torsion Bar I ever saw, (other than on a rusty basketcase where the crossmember tore out), was back in the late 70's on on SuperBee, and that was on one side/one bar only ?

Love to hear this one's story as it relates to TWO 'busted' Torsion bars ?

Maybe it's just turned down? Easy to leave these cars on the bumpstops if you turn the adjusters all the way out.

Description said 2 different times it has 2 broken torsion bars. I wonder if what he really means is rotted frame where torsion bars meet frame/crossmember? LEON.

Are the torsion bars only meant to twist one way? Since they have side specific part numbers, What would happen if they were installed on the wrong sides?

I wondered that  :P :scratchchin:   , braking two bars  , only thing I can think , if cross member not rotted out   , someone attempted to remove both bars for suspension work years back  , with out correct tool & put gouges in the bars , creating stress points  , causing them to snap  at later date ,  , after recreating some driving  action from the DOH  :P  :shruggy:  :-\ :popcrn: ;)

Which to me would be crazy money for it , not even if it was detailed up running / driving  would $50k be in my mind of it being worth that .

I wonder what greed bay will make on it. It ain't 10 percent either on a Auction. More like 25%.  :brickwall:
Or wait, maybe that's what they charge if it does not sell.  Selling it a fixed price seems cheaper.  Why ? GREED BAY, WHY ?

Pretty sure ebays fees are fixed on vehicle auctions, and are not a percentage of sale.  $125 if im not mistaken.

eBay fees are cheap, even if it sells in "auction" style listing. Now auction houses, that's the 10%

This 'outa be good for the next 6 Hrs ?

ALL the prior Bids disappeared, now 6 Hrs left and basically starting over again at $10,100. ?

Might be fun to be a "fly on the wall" watching the last 5 minutes late tonight ?

I claim BS. I tried to sell a engine for 2500 at the normal auction style and when it failed to sell, I had a 250 fee each week.

Maybe parts are the 10% fee ?

I sold my 70 Charger on ebay 3 years ago now and the $125 fee sounds right for what I was charged

I doubt that car sold for 30k.
Why it was bid that high is any bodys guess..
Cool car but really its a project like any other but with pretty original paint.
Plus auto with a vinyl top, so nothing extra special other then the originality factor.
