You know, you all have mention afew names on here that I want to comment on.
I like cartoons and watch them at times, but for some reason I just don't get the concept of The Simpson's at all though or South Park for that matter. I have watch The Simpson's show afew times and even watch the movie. But yet, to me it seems like a dumb cartoon show. That goes for South Park as well, I have watch one episode of that and had turn it off for afew reason's 1) It made no sense at all, and 2) the foul lauage that was used ::). What is America coming to anymore.
Who would want to see a cartoon naked is beyond me. :lol:

They are cartoons. They're not supposed to make sense. I like southpark because everything they make fun of is going on in the news. They do take it to extremes though.

Seen that show and I do like it. Thanks for tip though man. I don't mind when something isn't serious, but it should be clean though and not dirty, You ahve to remember young kids are watching these cartoons also not just the adults.

Cartoons are only percieved as kid-friendly because that's been the pattern in america for decades. Not true for Asia. The pattern has just been shifting in america gradually since the 1990s.
The Asians aren't doing it to try to trick kids into watching dirty shows. That culture just doesn't assume that an animated show is automatically going to be kid-friendly in the first place.
Maybe it has something to do with the golden lasso, but you just can't beat an American icon...... Wonder Woman:
I got my first Japanese "Manga" way. way back in '86 or so, and inspite of being backwards and in Japanese I was hooked,.. these weren't "dirty" but they were erotic, and very well drawn almost drafted actually, Graphically they're stunning, with imaginative storylines, quite innovative and Fresh. but it's true that a huge portion of them do cater to various fetishes, they also cater to all age groups from young to old, The Japanese have a loooong tradition of illustritive graphics probably dating back to when most of the population was illiterate hundreds of years ago and information was communicated with pictures.
Try renting the GITS (Ghost in the Shell) or watch it on Adult Swim, Now I know it wont be everyones' cup of tea -but they must have something going on or Steven Speilberg wouldn't be making it into a Movie.
The actual graphic novels are avail. but my exposure to them may have something to do with living in SF with a large Japanese population and some cool Japanese stores that sell everything Japanese...
I'd really be interested in hearing Franks' (SFRT) take on this - since he caters to japanese collectors with his Art and Toys.
But i must admit, I just ain't feeling Marge, sorry.. :shruggy:
