ok i know it might not be "correct" but im not ready for a full engine rebuild yet. has anyone just replaced the main bearings in a 3rd gen b body in the car just by dropping the pan? id love to just be able to do this without pulling the engine, spending all the money and having the car be down for however long it would take me between work and my little man running around. the car runs great but has had lower oil pressure as long as ive owned it with some slight knocking from time to time. i also run 20/50 to limp it along. if this gets me a couple more years then ill be happy.

little update, finished up the swap and have been driving it for the past couple weeks on and off... such instant gratification doing this, way more fun to drive. the combo is an early b body trans with a mount i made to put the shifter at the back of the tailhousing, prices of the correct trans with the duel mount set up and availabilty locally to me made this more worth it to me. stock clutch pedal set up with the mcleod hydraulic throw out bearing set up and street clutch, flywheel is just a stock one. very fun.

Hello Aero folks.

A quick line to let everyone know my beloved C500 has found a new home with Jim Chandler 'Superstock' legend UK.
Just one of two known C500's in the UK.
F8 four speed dana-60 numbers matching from Florida.
Hopefully after a twenty year hibernation Jimbo will do the final finishing work.

He wants to get 'Best in show' at the Mopar EuroNats and put the C500's back on the map!!!

Good luck to him and all fellow C500 owners in the World...    

ps, sold it on my birthday (today) mixed feelings indeed...
