Title: Anybody know where / how to get a coats 40-40 tire changer manual?
Post by: chargers_r_us on September 08, 2010, 03:50:43 PM
I have a coats 40-40A tire changer and I would like to get an operators, and / or service manual for this machine, but all I can find so far is a 4 or 5 page parts list for it with a few maintenance tips. Anybody have an idea of where or how to get a manual? Thanks!

The 40-50 is pretty much the same thing and they're still in production so a dealer should be able to get you a manual.

I found mine online and printed it out about 4 yrs ago.  I forgot the website. Do a search.

You should be able to walk in to any tire store and watch them for ten minutes and know how to operate it. Just don't fool around with pressurized tires.

I've had my 40-40 for quite a few years and never needed a manual but I'm glad they were posted here, never know when you'll need a parts breakdown.
