This car was purchased recently from a long time owner who I had several conversations with. He told me he pretty much got his $219K asking price. Wonder what it will bring at auction?
I had spoke to the "long term owner" of this car several times. The price he was willing to let it go to me was far less than the stated $219K.
69_500 You are correct. The owner and I were chatting about the $180K range when someone offered his asking price - end of story.
so what's been done to this since it was in the Perry Raceway livery? Looks like a full restoration, with some license taken.
The Daytona is at Mecum but it didn't cross the block and isn't on the website anymore. Does anyone know what happened?

We saw it at the back of the staging lanes Friday morning, then it was driven away. We found it late Friday afternoon in the shipping lot. :shruggy:
