Title: Superbird reference video
Post by: taxspeaker on March 13, 2024, 04:27:15 PM
Please let me 1st apologize for not participating in the forum much for 2 years. Because I can only access it via my cell phone and I can't type well on a cell phone I have kind of abandoned posting, and I miss the interaction

Now the purpose of the post. For the millionth time I have read an expert on reddit/google/youtube/instagram post a glaringly incorrect but often repeated myth about superbirds. Choose your myth, this social media bad info is overwhelming, and the guys in the shop said let's record a reference fact video today, which they will post early next week.

In the video I try to emphasize the experts, and list a few, not including myself in the list-i am very knowledgeable but not at expert level.

So, please don't eat me alive, but I tried to research and confirm everything with authoritative sources. I appreciate corrections or additional facts, but wanted to warn everyone here, whom I respect greatly, that I am not trying to be a know-it-all.
Thanks
Bob

Thanks Steve, Jim and Gene
Known mistake-wrong paint code on orange bird.
Meant to mention burnt orange and rally red additional known non-official colors.
I have spoken with owners of both of the burnt orange cars, but have been unsuccessful getting contact info for rally red.

I met a guy last year that said he wanted to do that. I asked him if his last name was gates or buffet!
