I posted a pic of underbody, but it came up as last posting of page 5 so thought I'd post it a again here on page 6 in case it was missed.
I'm really happy with the fitment of the exhaust I bought from Gardner Exhaust.

Slowly putting the 'Bird back together. Building a car in Australia can be a pain. Just ordered a small box of parts, $208 freight and its taken 4 days just to confirm freight cost!
I do need some advice, I am painting the interior roof moldings . The side mouldings seem to be gloss, where the front is matt.(or are they just sun affected?)
I this correct? Could the front molding be the same finish as the dash and steering column to reduce glare?
Should the side moldings be satin or gloss?
What finish should the ash tray be?
Thanks

:2thumbs:  looks awesome !! nice work going on  :yesnod: :popcrn:

Gloss side rails, matte front.  Starting in 1968 you had to have matte finishes on the dash, A pillars, etc, to eliminate glare.

The outside of the ash tray should be painted with your dash--whatever you're using for that.  The inside was zinc plated.
