Hi

I actually don't know if I have a problem, but the 3-speed wiper switch does not work like the FSM says when I bench test it. I have the switch open and can't see that it is possible for the switch to make contact between A and R1 in medium speed. Is the FSM wrong? or is it me  :brickwall:

This what is what the FSM says:

Off: B to B/U, B/U to P, A to F2, F1 to ground

Low: B to B/U, B/U to A, A to F1, F2 to ground, P-open

Medium: B to B/U, B/U to A, A to R1, F2 to ground, P-open  (I have: B to B/U, B/U to A, R1 to F1, F2 to ground, p-open)

High: B to B/U, B/U to A, A through rheostat or resistor to F1, F2 to ground, P-open

What year is this?

My '69 manual says the same thing except high is A through rheostat or resistor to R2, not F1.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
