I am sourcing parts for my charger to upgrade my disc brake set up. Going this route according to this tech article from Mopar Action http://www.moparaction.com/Tech/archive/disc-main.html with the pin style calipers and 11 3/4'' rotors. But I have access to someone that is parting out a '79 Cordoba. These brakes are the slider style, and may be also 11 3/4" rotors (will confirm when I go and check it out). Has anyone tried this swap(Cordoba)? Is there an advantage between the slider or pin style of calipers?
Thank you in advance.

The cordoba is a great donor for the disc brake setup and should have the 11 3/4 rotors as far as the slider or pin type calipers on a street vehicle I don't think one is really all that better than the other but in extreme situations some people like seem to like the pin type over the slider.
