Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

That's how I found out about it. :yesnod:

For some reason I kinda' like those cars. I know it goes against my grain, but I just can't explain it. :shruggy:  This could be the go-kart I always wanted to find and build as a kid. :D ..... at least some of basic parts are there.  :scope:

I was quite involved with the sale that liquidated that collection.  I have video somewhere of that thing doing a massive burnout.  Also have a Hot Wheels replica of it.

polywideblock

believe it or not I was that engrossed in the car I never even noticed the collection until you spoke about it and had another look   :slap:

It was impressive. (it was a museum too)

RECHRGD

I remember looking at one on a showroom floor with my Dad back in the '50's.  He almost bought it, but wasn't sure if it could make it up our steep driveway.  It looked like a death trap to me.....

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Mytur Binsdirti

There's a reason they dumped it in the lake all those years ago.

Ghoste

It probably didn't have enough power to climb back up the slope after a day at the lake.

Got to love the wording of his ad......very funny :smilielol:

As-Is-Where-Is, no warranty expressed or implied
No Serial Number anywhere. No Title, Bill of Sale only
You will need gloves to move it
A current Tetanus shot would not be a bad thing either
Could be restored, all you need is a frame, a body, door, engine, chaincase and some other bits that can be purchased with money.
Enclosed transport is highly recommended.
All proceeds from the sale of this item will probably go to eBay and PayPal fees
No Bitcoins
Please ask any additional questions through the "Ask A Question" link that is somewhere on this page a bit further down.

*EZ = not easy

I now know MY Charger WILL be an easy restoration.......(or at least a "possible" restoration unlike this thing..)
