I am replacing a hyd with a solid FT cam in a 440 with PRW stainless rockers, I used oil through pushrods with a oil metering lifter on the hyd cam. The solid lifters I have are a Hylift Johnson  A-0998e. I am not aware of any problems with too much oil with the hyd set up after 5 years of use, always maintained good oil pressure, should I get an oil through pushrod or not with the solid. I run brad penn in a 20w/50.

Yes, they are, hughes has them as part # HUG 5012EDM although I didn't get them through hughes engines.
