Depending on the quality of motor it's only going to draw between 20 and 25 amps on continuous run. If your wiring run is short #10 and a 30 amp breaker will work fine. Longer run #8 and 40 amp. What's the amp rating on the motor plate?

Nice compressor for spraying.. it should keep up. Media blasting is the hardest on them, I can keep my 5HP running steady using my big cabinet.

   23 amps running, I am going to run #8 wire just because I have the wire already on a 40 amp breaker, it is a short run. Also have a second 80 gal. tank to add capacity.
