at the shop i work at we are working on a 69 RR doing a full restoration, unfortunately we had a part timer working for us for awhile who didn't know how to label anything. Do any of you happen to know what this part is? There are 2 of them  with the car.

so far the best ive been told is that its a weee part. haha

that is possible, im just not sure exactly.

Lurker

are those fine threads or coarse? might narrow down the search, was it cleaned or refinished before it was shelved or did it come from somewhere that never got dirty? i love a good mystery lol :scratchchin:

thats just it, i dont remember pulling it off the car, but with 3 other people working there as well, 2 of which are no longer employed by the shop, so I can't ask them either. haha.

I think it got shelved. the part was sandblasted before painted, so I'm fairly certain it was in a dirty area, or underside, since that entire car was rust.

thanks for the help. now to find what it goes onto! haha

Mean 318

It is not a restoration unless there are parts left over! ;)

pandamarie

I just rebuilt the front suspension on a 75 vette and that looks like the nut plate that holds the lower control arm on, if it is the holes should be 1/2" fine thread. never seen anything like that on the mopars ive restored.
