In was going to replace the radiator on my 74 318 Charger, but ran into a problem. The transmission coolent lines started to twist when I tried to loosen them. Is there a way to free them up? I really do not want to cut them, but if I do, where can I buy replacements? The female connecter on the line itself does spin?

You need to "double wrench", hold the fitting in the radiator with one wrench while loosening the tubing nut with another wrench.

If you turn only the tubing nut, the fitting in the radiator tank will try to unthread and the tubing will twist.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Paddock parts, Year One, InlineTubes, Fine Lines all of these companies sell new lines either OEM or Stainless Steel, or you can go to Summit or Jegs or a local auto parts store and route the lines a custom way.
