Ash receiver- years interchange?

Detailing the interior pieces, discovered the cover for the ash receiver has been...trimmed...

Are all 2nd gen pieces the same? I'd like a blue one, please.

I don't believe they are the same.  68 has that sliding door affair that IIRC is padded as well.  Now I also seem to recall something about someone saying that the tail end of the 68 model run began to use the same flip out door that they went to in 69 but I don't know.
