2nd Gen Charger Section Width?

Hey guys,

What is the space available in the wheel wells of the 2nd gen Chargers, specifically, the 69? I think it's the section width I'm talking about. Like, Challengers have 13.4" (340mm) or there abouts you can play with. Just planning a head is all. From my searching, 325/50s fit with a 5.5 to 6" BS without a relo kit, I knew they looked big but that's awesome. So, if anyone can let me know what room they have back there, also, height? 31" max, stock, no tubbing? Keep in mind I will have no leaf springs to worry about either.

Cheers,
Carl

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Thanks as am I but no luck yet. :'( Gotta be a fixed common # for these cars.  :popcrn:

Thanks for your help, it's much appreciated. I found most of those except one, that had some useful info on max height tires 30" pushing it to a no go and 29.5" OD is about right etc but no firm "wheel well" width yet. I will have to weight until I get the Charger to be sure, would of measured again anyway but I just wanted to get the ball rolling and start sussing out what tires were suitable. Thanks again!

Some other info as I find it.....might be of some use, might not?

B - BODY 8 ¾ SWAP INTO A BODY
I keep hearing that B body 8 ¾ rear ends fit into A bodies except that they are a little wider. I have never seen this swap but I wanted to provide the B Body 8 ¾ dimensions verses the stock A body 8 ¾ setup. The first measurement is the center to center spring pad width of the housing, the second is the total axle width flange to flange.

67 - 72 A body 43.02" 55.60"
62 - 70 B body 44.00" 59.20"
71 - 74 B body 47.30" 62.00"
71 - 74 B body Station Wagen 47.3" 63.4"
