yes that's the other.  when BoS bought the one they have now the guy had the other one, too, and for some reason that's newsworthy to Joe.

the "move" isn't happening.  either it was a hoax or it really fell through.  Jury's out here in CLE.  But yes, when Wingr visited that was the story.

Something definitely not right here.....

138602 was/is supposed to be an automatic yet the car they list is a 4-speed & supposed #'s match.

This was the car when it was on ebay in '07 cloned to a Daytona....supposed to have 9500 orig miles as well...

Two different cars' fender tags are shown in the same ad.  Down further, they show the fender tag for the "real" car in this auction (210737), which is also a B5 Hemi C500 but has a manual tranny...

It is quite confusing to have two cars' fender tags in the same ad, but the second tag matches the description up in the eBay ad text section.

I wasn't aware of BoS's issues, but would like to learn more about what's going on there.

Wow you guys are on top of this guy i fell sorry for him if he trying to run a scam !

RAC95054

That was John Fox's car from my area.  He took it to the Mopar Alley show at Ohlone College last year (I posted some pics somewhere else here), and then sold it not too long after.  I talked to him this year, and the price he got for is what a *lot* less then BestofShow is asking for it (and I believe they are who bought it from him).  I mean, a *lot* less.  Aren't the days of flipping over??

Maybe here in the US for the most part but overseas there's still plenty of cash.....a lot of their cars are sold out of the country :rotz:

Sure. One is the original and the other is a tag that Galen Govier made so that the car could be show without it's original tag. On a car this rare, you would be foolish to leave the original tag in plain sight. As Galen points out in his 46 page report on this car, it has: original fender tag; original VIN tag; original radiator core support stamp; original trunk lip stamp, original engine and original transmission. This equates to a 100% numbers matching car. Thanks for your interest.

Galen made a mistake on the reproduction tag.  Call him and he will verify this for you.

you would think they would fix the copied tag so it would be correct like the original and not have a mistake on it.........................
