Joined this board today just to respond to this post. Stumbled across it looking for something else. Thanks so much for the heads-up on the Schaefer 300 YT clip. Coverage from that race seems to have been pretty sparse. Several friends of mine and I are long time Petty fans - and formed a self-proclaimed Schaefer Hall of Fame & Ring of Honor. One of our buds attended this race, and I had the good fortune of holding the winning trophy at the Richard Petty Museum a year ago. Here are a few blog entries I've posted about that 70 race. I'll definitely plan to embed this video in a future post. Thanks again.

Nothing petty about a Schaefer victory:

Based on the entry list, it sure looks that way. But when the cars qualified and took the green, it looks like only one car fielded by Castles ran. Of course, it also looks like a few more cars showed up than was originally planned based on entry blanks.

And no, for now I've been able to stay away from joining Facebook. For a while, I didn't see the need for it. Now its a matter of rebellious pride that I don't succumb.  :icon_smile_big:
