 Well I had some Road wheels on her that I got from 493 Charger, but I'm saving those for the R/T SE...   These'll have to do...   :)   I got a deal on them, they are brand new, and I got them for 1/2 the original purchase price.

  Check out the Un-Cracked 4-speed console.   :)   Nice huh?   :)

  Can anyone de-code this for me, or post a link to a '68 decoder?:

Oh yes, I'm going to DROP the front end.  I just got it alligned, hope that doesn't screw it up too bad.  I don't like the tires either, BUT I'm saving the MEATS for my car...
changing the ride height of the front end will result in considerable change to the alignment.

Wheels are allright, but wouldn't be my first pick. As for your fender tag...

a6 = console
b4 = bucket seats
u1 = sold/ordered car

R1 = AM radio
T7 = tinted windows (I think)

A4 = 3.23 or 3.55 gear ratio (I forget)
X8 = sure grip equipped rear end

TRM/C6X = black Charger interior
PNT/RR1 = light ellow exterior?
UB = black upper door frame paint

62 = 383 4bbl
3 = 4 speed
44 = tire code
515 = May 15, 1968 build date
063XXX = production order number

Cool car, sorry I don't have the rest of the codes memorized. Maybe someone else does.
Speed kills, but you get there faster.

Yeah I have seen wheels that look real close to those on trucks  :shruggy:

Heck I was not sure you had found this site, boy you must be busy  ;D

By the way on my 68 PPG Ditzler paint chart RR1 is BURGANDY POLY

They'd look great on my Wrangler.  Let me know if you decide you don't like them.

MoparYoungGun

Personally, I don't like them. But it is your car and you should do what you wish. Also, A4 is 3.23 to 3.55 and RR1 is Burgundy.

Personally I don't like them either.............but last time I checked it was a free country! :icon_smile_wink:

They do look like something that would be on a bling SUV.  But hey, sometimes we got to do what we got to do.
