The race car is aerodynamic, but the hauler is as aerodynamic as a brick.

When I visited Randleman many years ago, he had what many would call a huge trophy room with a lot of racing memorabilia and a whole lot of memories.  I remember he had several cars in the room including the Superbird (not his original one from what I understand) the Charger and his Pontiac, and I believe several other cars.   Later they moved his "museum" into town...but, today it is back on the family estate along with his restoration/performance shop.  Others could add details as I haven't been back since the move...so I don't know what's on display now.

Petty already has a slightly newer Dodge transporter sitting outside doing nothing (pic shown here).

My take on the box truck: Pretty cool piece.  But what do you do with it?   You need a lot of space to store it.   You need a '71 and up Petty or a later Arrington car "to tie the room together".   Otherwise, really, what is the meaning?

The number of buyers at that price point is going to be very thin.  The trailer being offered was not part of the rig when Petty had it.

You know, I'm a firm believer that muscle cars should always be driven, and never trailered, but I wouldn't mind showing up at the local cruise with that hauler, and then unload the Charger out of it in front of everyone...

Unloading an era correct speedway Charger would put it over the top imo.

That sure is an ugly front end.  I say that with love.   ;)
