For the 1st time in nearly a year, both cars are running! The Bird has nothing left on the "To Do" list and is ready for Alaska and the AAR Cuda is down to 3 things! I actually drove them both for about 45 minutes 1 in front of the other on I-65 in Indiana today until the rubberneckers got out of control, then stopped by the state police on the way home for a small infraction clearly caused by malfunctioning speedometers on both cars. That's ok-it was a great day!!

These are the compressed ones-Cuda had been restored by someone else in 2008-(matching numbers AAR though), flipped in 2008 at the top of the market, then neglected. In 2013 I was cruising online and my wife came in the room and caught me looking at Mopar porn-saw the AAR was a matching Alpine white black vinyl top, black bucket interior with console just like the Bird and said "you've got to buy that car". How do you say no to that?

A small hit to home equity later we had the car and have spent the last 15 months just bringing it up to snuff. It is amazing what people do. The good news was the flippee had not molested the body or drivetrain, the bad news was everything else that could be wrong was or had been jack legged. We are down now to heater, wiper motor and vinyl top.

Bob, it's really great when a wife has the Mopar addiction!   I have a 68 Coronet RT Convertible that my wife won't let me sell - LOL!

Nice AAR!   I bought one years ago on Ebay- drove 11 hours to New York to pick it up and within 10 minutes figured out it was a re-body.   Always liked them...  Some poor sap in Texas purchased it and was trying to sell it the other year as a real AAR.

If we weren't 1,500 miles away a red and white double photo shoot would be cool!
