Nice looking car. Almost a shame to alter it in a way.
My 69 R/T SE looked that nice until one of my bodymen decided to do me a favor and removed the bumpers and trim, knocked out a few dings, primered it and then quit.
Keep us posted as to which parts you go with. There are several wingcar projects going on right now, but they tend to move rather slowly sometimes.

Find me a decent 70' Charger for 5K & I will buy it. I do not think you can even get an 318, bench seat Granny 70' Charger for that price.

I bought this car long ago with the intentions of making a Daytona out of it so its time now to start the project. it doesnt bother me to cut up a car to make what you want, except for maybe the true classics like the Packard V12s, Duesenburgs and the like, hell I have a 48 Lincoln V12 convertible coupe that there is only 16 known to exsist and when the Daytona is done its  going to be its turn.

Got any parts to start the transformation yet?

pandamarie

Ihave the vega harch back that im going to use for the window plug and a sey of valiant front turn signal housings and lenses I picked up 10 years ago for 5 bucks, Someone wrote and said they have a 70 charger that they want to convert to a 69, so I might have a 70 front clip in trade for my 69 clip, if that happens I will spend a few weeks in the dog house because my wife is dead set against me making a daytona but thats ok she will get over itas the parts just happen to follow me home like most of my cars and dogs do. (I dont know where they came from, they just followed me home)

I might be able to help you out with a set of '70 Charger fenders.  I have 2 '70 Chargers and I think a total of 7 fenders.  They need work, but they're definitely usable.   I might also have a hood that needs some work.

Where did you find the Vega hatch?  I've been looking all around this area and can't find one.
