I saw something recently about Travis Bell resproducing plates for celebrity Chargers but I can't seem to find it online.  I know he has done General Lee tags but I believe these other ones are a new branching out for him.  Apparently he is offering the Charger plate seen on the black 68 in "Bullitt".  It is also my understanding that he ahs others too like the Mustang one from Bullitt and the ECTO1 plate from Ghostbusters?
Anyone know more about this or what his actual website is?

He's got plates from Smokey and the Bandit, Dukes (Cooter's truck, General Lee, Daisy's Jeep, Boss Hogg's Caddy, police cars), Knight Rider, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Bullitt (Charger and Mustang), Green Hornet, Vanishing Point, Blues Brothers, Christine, and the Ferrari from Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

There once was a kiosk business in a shopping mall near me that made fake custom plastic license plates. A friend and I bought one for a BMW Z3 roadster we had access to that was to be used in a movie we were making; a movie that shot for 2-3 days and then went kaput. I said all that to say perhaps you can find one of these types of businesses online or near you.

Like so: http://www.autoplates.com/store/custom-state-plates-c-10261_10226.html

Not sure what state it was but this one looks close...

Thanks Bull, I may end up using one of those.  The ones I have I have seen in malls personally have never offered California blue plates for that authentic DMCL look but if Travis can't put something together I'll take your advice and see what can be turned up online.

This place has six styles of CA plates and one of them is the historic blue: http://cr8apl8.easystorecreator.com/items/cruise-the-usa-plate-styles/california-/list.htm?1=1

Another as seen below: http://www.licenseplates.tv/california-147.html
