Does anyone know where to find the screw like bolt that holds in the water control valve on a 68 Charger with A/C. They are the longer spiral like screw with a G and L on the head. I saw these some time back and cannot find them again. I have looked at nearly every page on AMK and every other site I can think of and can't find them. Anyone know where to get them? Any help is appreciated.

Are these same screws used on the 69's for the water valve?  What about for the voltage regulator and the ballast?  What did they use?  I'm mostly interested in 69.

These were used only on the water control valve and I believe that they were used on all models that had air conditioning. It should be the same for a 69 too. I saw these advertised at one point way back when I didn't think I needed them. They have a G with the L in the middle of the head. I have looked at Mr G's, AMK and any other automotive nut and bolt manufacturer. Needless to say I found alot of information, but not for these. I wonder how hard it would be to get them reproduced. If anyone has a set of these they don't need, I am glad to purchase them and then look into who might reproduce them if there is enough call for it. Seems like you can get every other nut and bolt needed but these. Thanks for the feedback and help.

Hey Tan Top,
Thanks for the pictures of the ellusive screws. What the heck would you call these? I saw these for sale on the internet some place way back and didn't think I needed them. I guess I do and it is funny how obsessed one becomes looking for the correct screw. My wife says I am missing a screw because it was loose  Has anyone ever seen them for sale too. If nothing else, anyone have a set they don't need and want to sell. Thanks for all the help.

The screws are used on  1966 thru 1970 B-body on the water valves on A/C cars only.( maybe earlier years that I'm not familair with )

I have yet to find that screw used on anything else or anywhere else on any other make , year or model.

And I'll give you a heads up, I was told to expect a minimum run of 10,000 pieces to make it feasible per piece. then you'll die with 9500 of them

That's what I thought. I know I saw these for sale some place on one of the parts vendors sites and for the life of me I can't find them again or remember who it was. I'll keep looking otherwise sounds like a salvage yard item. Thanks for the update. It is one of those crazy items I refuse to give up on.

Does anyone have a set of these they want to sell? I know I saw them for sale on a website sometime back when I didn't think I needed them. I guess I do and have looked high and low with no success. I know the have the G around the L on the head as the correct marking. It must be someone who had them made but they are not easy to find if they are. I have typed in all kinds of requests on Google and maybe I am not asking for the right thing. I am determined to find these crazy screws. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
