I ordered the vinyl top for my 74 Spring Special from Year One and it's on back order. I didn't realize that the full vinyl was unusual on my car for a 74. Has anyone ordered their top from Year One? I'm wondering if it will fit.  Thanks! Paul |

I had a friend that ordered his 72 Chally from them and it fit just fine.
I ordered my 73 SE but it is not on yet. Mine was the "Cobra" grain. We'll see.

72 SE should be the same... after all allways needs to be trimmed out. The excess of material on these should be enough to get it done to M07 74s
the regular Full vinyl top on 73/74s is really an halo top, and doesn't gets the A pìllars... 72 SE does.
not saying as a fact, but PROBABLY

SE top is NOT the same. Mine is only 3/4 ... you need the full vinyl.
AND it is not the same material/grain.

Thanks guys. When I bought the car it still had the original vinyl and it was on the a pillars too, like my 72. I'll see if they can change my order. Appreciate the info!

Bob, I'm talking about 72 SE not 73/74 SE  the question is HOW MUCH OF EXTRA MATERIAL IT HAS to reach the B pillar and the bottom section of opera frame ?. Only somebody who has got the 72 SE top, for his car, and installed can answer that about grain... dunno |

hell!!! even the regular 71/72 Full top should work once again the question is how much extra material they have to cover the opera window area up to B pillar and below it http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/techarticles/body/mopp_0212_installing_a_new_vinyl_top/viewall.htmland it seems THERE IS PLENTY!!... althought needs to consider the vinyl reachs lower on 73/74 due the lower cut of quarter window on these, more than 71/72s ( around 1 and a half inch )  now... the grain is another story... I guess, the seams are at same location too |

Thanks again guys, Year One was able to change my order. I'm not sure about the grain, guess I'll take what I can get at this point. This was the grain when I got her, as well as the damage, which was no fun to fix!  |
