I have a pair of these. When I removed them years ago one stud broke off of each. Is this common? If these are not reproduced it may be worth the effort to repair them. I can drill and tap for new stud. Any opinions welcome.

How are the repos? If they are good than that puts a nix on repairing a broke one for that price.
