Mine was only appraised for 45 the way it sits with out a dress and makeup and that was back in 05
prices were alot higher in 05   :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:

I agree, with all the "right" bells and whistles and paint marks maybe 50-60 :shruggy: i don't really know but I am not selling it so its not an issue anyway. :popcrn:

True enough. If the much touted number of 392 built is correct, then 500's are a very rare beast indeed.

It was all about the wing and snout for years for me, but as a mate is currently doing a full noise rotisserie resto on his F8 500, I've come to appreciate them highly . Can't wait to see it hit the blacktop

:2thumbs: They may be on the side line but their small numbers makes them that much more special.
Aside from that it is fun to answer questions about the car as opposed to listening to someone tell me about my car.

Exactly, I'd definitely consider selling my R/T to get into a 500, they've got me hooked  :yesnod:

I'll go one better and be the heretic and say that to me, the 500 is better looking than the Daytona.  You are still the 500 savant but I prefer them over the wing car. :shruggy:

I'll be even more of a heretic......think a 500 is the best looking 2nd gen. As good as any year 2nd gen looks[the bar is really high].....to me, the 500 defines sleek.

I'd still like a Daytona.....not for what it is worth, or style......but for what it IS.....street version of a race car.

And yes, I am one of those weird guys that would clone a 500. Kinda cool, as I thought I was about the only one that would do this. :2thumbs:

When I was 5 I told my dad I would have a 500 because "everyone we know has handfuls of the wing cars and only a few have 500's". Of course at the time there was 7 wing cars in our yard and only 2 of the 500's.

Ghoste

Do you know what your dads response was to that?

ws23rt

If the nose had a quick change mount and the same with the wing we could have both. Just a matter of dressing for an occasion.
Opps maybe a bad thought ::)

Yes I actually do. He said, "you will be able to get a 500 easily, but once you grow up you will want to move up to a Daytona." He was right. I wanted his Q5 500 really badly when I was little. Actually liked it more than the Hemi 500. One of these days I will get it. Tried once before and came close. But he was right I would prefer a Daytona but who says I can not have multiples of both just like he did.

So far the only 500 I've seen that I liked was a B5 Hemi 4 speed car with a white stripe and blue interior.
It was just gorgeous.  :drool5:
Not into these browns/copper/green cars.
Don't think F6 was around yet, but if there was 1 that color with a white stripe and interior, I'd be all over it.. :yesnod:

I have seen many 500's, but the one that stands out to me was the blue SE car up in Canada. I also like the T5 or is it T7 color as well

The LL1 turquoise was my former '68 Hemi Charger R/T..
