the 68 looks nice.
It does not look like LL1 turquoise but more like the earlier Kk1.
What colour did it have originally?

did you ever try to start the old motor?

Before I started the old motor I removed the valve covers and found a bent pushrod, Pulled motor and rebuild it, Did not find any damage, Have no Idea why the pushrod was bent but did not want to take any chances, It was winter so was a good time to go through the motor.
