I think the hard part would be to inventory the whole thing to see what's missing.  I would think it would be in the sellers best interest to post what the car looks like in it's current condition even if blown apart.   At least you could see how solid the car actually is.  I think the buyer is taking a big gamble getting this one.

I have never seen a set on a car, but I think I might like to find a set....I know JC Whitney used to sell them years ago...even for the first gen cars

Judging by the production number in the VIN, my car watched that one getting finished in Feb/March 1970.  Mine didn't come with a 10th of those options and definitely not a 500 on the quarter panel or a 440 .  But it also found a Chilton's manual along the way - 1971 edition....Looks to me like this VIN is also the sellers id. Hope the parting is not something he has to do.  What a small world and a fun/pleasant surprise.
