the VIN sequence (9B355712) stamped on the block would've been a Dodge Dart  :Twocents: most probably, as stated: "original to XX29L9B355112"

Friend had a 426 sattelite  ,motor and trans never removed both had the same number one digit wrong ,one upside down .Long number is 68-72 ,date is Oct 29th 68 front stamp E440 HP ,manifoldsand inlet early 69 , 440 motors ceased production in 78, thankyou for your input

Sheet

F8-4life

I would sand and prep/paint that fender tag before it rusts away.

held1823

hate that you need to sell it, after the cool story of how you bought it

the asking price is certainly fair

would love to see you reunite the build sheet with the correct car

many do so for free while others want a king's ransom, but the sheet adds nothing to the wrong car

It probably is a 68 that the photo makes it look like an 88. The casting number is good for the era.
