Thanks. I was able to repaint the red outer circle by hand and it turned out pretty good so I don't need the whole shebang.

bull, as the pins on my badges were broken off I tried to electric glue gun them on but there was some bad interaction between the vinyl and the badge chrome back and they didn't hang on. I eventually got them to stick with rtv clear silicone sealer, works fine

It seems it could go either way, and when that happens I tend to go with what I prefer. In this case I prefer the subtle look without black script.
