Good afternoon folks,

I need some guidance with witch tire size decal to use. I'm running FR70-15's and in the option book it lists a code U65 was for F70-15's as a option.

Insight and thoughts

Thank you sir  :2thumbs:

I decided to give it a try. Will see how things turn out. The rear seats turned out okay.
The front seats will be entertaining. Looking forward to it.

I did it in my 67 with no prior experience and I was happy with the result.  Some silicone spray and a lot of stretching.  (and patience)

when you get ready to put stretch the seat cover on  , toss it in a pillow case and throw it in the dryer for 5 minutes  .  They pull on much easier   :icon_smile_big:

The last couple of seat covers I have installed from Legendary, have been extremely tight and difficult to install. I just did this one for my friends 70 V code GTX, and the bottom of the rear seat was a real b*tch!  Thanks for the dryer tip,I will surely try it the next time I do seat covers!

Good day folks,

I just got a 6 way with the 70 buckets I am getting
Question . Does the 6 way in it's lowest position sit the same height as a regular seat track seat or is it higher ??

Good morning,
I'll measure it against the regular track. I also was concerned about that very question after refurbishing the seats. You difinitly set higher up with new seat foam.

After doing some checking, the 6-way at it's lowest point is the same height as the regular seat track.
The measurements I came up with (just using the door side track) the front is 4-3/4" and the rear 3-3/4".
Hope this helps. I don't know what the difference's between a 69' 6-way seat track versus a 70' 6-way seat track is besides the way in mounts up.

I have a 69' 440 hp in the wings. It will be mostly stock configuration. The transmission is a 727 and it will be stock as well. The engine and transmission will be the next step in this build.

Gorgeous! Steve makes the bestest exhaust there at ECS ! Also great to see now that they sell all the clamps and hangers to go with it, vs having to bother Frank. Their website has been recently revamped after the passing of David.
