April 11, 1970 at Talladega.   Both of these ladies are still around.   Doshia Wall is on the left and Cheryl Johnson is on the right.   Doshia had a very long tenure with the Racestoppers, still on the job in the early 80's.   Cheryl left in the early 70's, got married and is involved with real estate in central Florida.

Feb 15 1970 at Daytona.    The girl on the left is Miss ARCA. Her name escapes me at the moment.  The Racestopper is Cheryl Johnson again.

Aero426

July 16 1972 at Michigan.   I don't know who the Racestopper is on this one.  The two boys are Lance and Corrie Stott.   Pictures from this race are very hard to find.

Aero426

June 14, 1970 at Talladega.    She is not a Racestopper.   But she does have a nice set of legs.

That would be cool to stage a picture with Ramo, who also hasn't aged.

Ghoste

If only someone knew how to contact him, and imagine if someone even knew where his old Superbird was.  :D

Still looks like he could get the job done.  He will be 80 next April.

I hear that if you polish the trophy, the crew and trophy girls will appear.   :yesnod:

This is the 1970 Daytona trophy and matching flag.   They were separated from the car a long time ago and were "not for sale".   Was lucky to be able to acquire them recently.   They belong to the car now.

Doug what are the two posters to the right of your Rapid Transit sign?

Aero426

The one with the driver standing in the cockpit is Chris Amon in the Ferrari 612 Can-Am car.   The middle one is Derek Bell in the Porsche 962 at the 1989 Daytona 24 hrs.   The one on right is a Meadowbrook Hall poster.

Very odd pose, though...    Back of a train car?    :shruggy:
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?
