Not really a big fan of burgundy either. My first car was an 82 prelude, same color POS.  :eek2:

Color's not important to me, I'd just have it repainted.  What matters is the condition of the body and the car, and it seems to be a fine machine...

Fender mounted turn signal indicators :scratchchin:  I didn't think that was an option on a 2nd gen.  Nice car, but it needs some details attended to.

Hmm...just noticed that; what an 'odd 'mod.  I guess the hood turn signal indicators and the dash indicators aren't enough?

I always wondered what happened to this rig & if it was a 999 paint car.  Bill Wiemann (sp?) used to own it.
I happen to love the color.

Thanks for posting this!   :2thumbs:

interesting car  :drool5:  didnt the 999 code show up on a 70 fender tag if it was originally silver  ,
:shruggy:  not saying this was, because of the tan interior , never know that might of been changed too ,

The inside of the trunk looks like ass as well as the tail light finish panel. As such, I think that's a true indicator on the actual quality of this car.

Is that a piece of angle iron on the right side of the trunk?

I did some minor work on this car for Bill Weimann who was a customer at the time of the restoration shop I was playing around at.  When I first saw this car my first thought was. "Who the hell was the dumb ass that painted this car a 1968 color"?  However when I started working on it I realized it was original paint, so "Yes" this is the original color of the car.  The fender turn signals were on it also and again I thought they looked like "ass" but that's the way this car was assembled.  It must have been spec'ed out by an employee at Dodge to get some of these options, but the car is "correct" in the sense of nothng has been added.  It appears it has since changed hands several times and his been refurbished, with numerous errors.

Really liking the color combo on this car. Trunk definitely needs some attention.  :yesnod:

I don't mind the color at all. It's refreshing to see something different in the way of color combinations now and then.  :2thumbs:

Love the color of the car but not a fan of the interior, white I think would look pretty good.

Lot of little things that are not right. Besides the trunk lack of color is the rear taillight panel!  That looks like Chevy!  :eek2:

I do love the SE wood dash! :coolgleamA:

I like the colors.  I really like the interior except for the dumbstick and wide pedal.   :flame:
