Ram OEM optional tires

Do any if you fellow late model Ram truck owners know what brand and size the OEM optional 20" tires were on 2009 and later trucks with upgraded Big Horn or Laramie trim package wheels were? 2wd
I don't have the original window sticker.

Not sure what the HP stands for though.

I'll check that out.......I never thought of looking. I'm headed to the garage now but I wouldn't be surprised if it just shows
the basic rubber and not optional tires.

Man, you'd think right? The young buck I bought this truck from replaced the OEM Goodyear Wranglers with some big lug rubber better suited to a 4wd. I have to give the kid props though, he took very good care of this truck and kept up on the factory service schedule.

I found a cheaper new set of the OEM's on eRape for $544 with free shipping. My tax appointment is Wednesday, if it looks as good as I project I'll be pulling the trigger on those that evening.

Drenching?  I wish.  It hasn't gotten warmer than 31(right now) since Thursday.  Suppose to warm up to 35 tomorrow & 45 on Monday so it'll be a slushy mess.

6"-8" inches of snow so far.


We've been through 2 sets of Wranglers'.  Not by choice since they were on the trucks new.


I run Goodyear on my Charger but nothing else and now they don't make them in 15" so I don't know what I'll do?

I put Firestone Indy 500's on my 69 when we finished it. At that point most of our nickels were gone and the Firestone's were an affordable choice. Pleased with them too.
As for Wranglers I suspect I'll get a longer life out of a set than you. Climate around here is a lot milder than where you're at.

I raced my wife's new '99 4 x 4 Ram @ the Mopar Nationals in Woodburn, Or. one year & actually took 2nd losing to a Pro class car detuned to run the street class.

I never had any traction issues but lit 'em up every time just because.  That prolly did the 1st set in.  The set on the '03 barely made 20k miles & after the 1st truck she wouldn't let me race anymore which really sucks now cause I think that SRT 10 would give my purple Charger a run for it's money.

I've thought about Firestone for my next set.  Although if I keep purple the tires will most likely outlive me.

I put Nitto NT 420S in the wife's truck last month.  So far, so good.  I also put the Nittos on the Magnum.

I'd check them out.  Not American but the reviews were what I was after.

There's 2 sets of Coopers & a set of Continentals for $140 a piece @ America's Tire.  60k mile Generals for $120.00 @ piece.  That's where we buy all our tires'.  Crazy, while talking to asst. manager he said they sell more Goodyears than Goodyear.

Hey man, you can do what I did and found very useful - go to the Ram website and request a digital copy of your build sheet.   They send it to you in about 48 hours and will tell you if there are any recalls, etc if you ask.    Here's an excerpt of the section for wheels and tires:

Mine's an '11 but came with the exact wheels yours did so the tire size is probably the same.   Also you can request the warranty change from there too without having to go to the dealer.   I just put in my VIN and asked them to send me a build sheet, recalls, and to change my warranty.

I'm still trying to find out how to repair the power lumbar support in the drivers seat of my '09.
There's some very old posts on other ram sites regarding the cheap plastic gear that
breaks on manual knob adjusted lumbar supports but zip on power ones. Still searching.
